About Us
We provide a superior private ambulance service, 24 hrs a day within the Midlands area. Our ambulances are all new with state of the art medical equipment onboard. We operate VIP medical care at a fraction of the cost to you. Our paramedics are all trained not only in the medical field, but also in the field of excellence. They know how to work under pressure and have unbeatable friendliness.
Our fleet is controlled from the St Michaels Ambulance 24 Hour Emergency Control and Dispatch Centre. We have a tracking system in place to ensure that we always have control over the fleet to give you updates on when help will arrive. We also use a GPS system to dispatch our emergency vehicles to the site of the emergency with the fastest possible time.
Our base is a “Home away from Home” situated in Howick, KZN. We have a training facility, dispatch, admin and accounting offices, ambulance bays, 24 hr crew quarters and dispatch all in one place.
ABOUT US
St Michael’s Ambulance Service officially opened on the 15th of September 2017 in Howick, Kwa-Zulu Natal. We pride ourselves in professional, ethical and compassionate service. We are proud members of the South African Private Ambulance Emergency Services Association (SAPAESA).
We are contracted to all medical aids, IOD (injury on duty), RAF (road accident fund) and offer competitive rates for private patients. We are contracted to provide medical services to The Greater Ambers and the HADCA homes in Howick. We are designated service providers for ER24, Netcare 911 and Europassist (including GEMS). We also provide emergency medical response to Aliwal Security clients in Hilton, Merrivale and Howick. We volunteer our services to our local parkrun every Saturday. We also visit Khazimula Children’s home once a month to do medical checks on all the children.
